No ‘Madhouse’ for Paris Hilton?

Paris Hilton may be behind bars instead of touring them next month when she's scheduled to host her Web site launch party in Las Vegas.

The hard-partying socialite got some news Friday that's not so hot.

Hilton was sentenced to 45 days in jail Friday in Los Angeles for violating her probation in a reckless-driving case.

She was to host "Beacher's Madhouse" on June 30 at The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel. Jeff Beacher, creator of the bawdy revue and a close friend of Hilton's, wouldn't comment, other than saying, "This is family, and I'm not going to talk about it."

Hilton's problems with the law began Sept. 7 when she was cited for alcohol-related reckless driving charges. She pleaded no contest, paid a $1,500 fine and was placed on 36 months of probation.

TYSON TWIN

Was that Mike Tyson or a near-identical lookalike at Friday's weigh-in for the Oscar De La Hoya-Floyd Mayweather Jr. title fight?

Tyson or his "twin" had the huge crowd in a tizzy as he moved through the bleachers, stopping for dozens of photos and signing autographs in the MGM Grand Garden arena.

The strongest hint that it wasn't Tyson came when he wasn't among the ex-champs who were introduced onstage.

It wouldn't be the first time fans were fooled. Cliff Couser, who claims to be Tyson's half brother, has been a Las Vegas resident.

I asked Keith Kizer, executive director of the Nevada Athletic Commission, if it was possible that Tyson was banned from the stage.

Tyson would have been welcome, Kizer said. If security kept him away from the stage, "it was because he wasn't a member of either party," not because of Tyson's volatile past.

"Had to be a lookalike," said Scott Ghertner, director of sports and promotions at MGM Mirage.

HASSELHOFF FIRES BACK

David Hasselhoff issued a statement Friday, saying his daughters are "outraged" by fabrications from his estranged wife, Pamela Bach.

Hasselhoff, whose three-month run in "The Producers" ends Sunday at Paris Las Vegas, released the statement a day after an embarrassing video of him in an inebriated state was leaked to the media.

"While I acknowledge that I am a recovering alcoholic who must deal with my own issue on a daily basis, my ex-wife has refused to deal with her own issues, which include having tested positive for alcohol and illegal substances in response to court-ordered testing."

Daughters Taylor, 16, and Hayley, 14, "are outraged by the falsity of their mother's claims and urged me to allow them to go to the press to challenge these claims. ... I discouraged our daughters from doing so, but I agreed that I would finally come forward and challenge these absurd claims made by their mother."

THE SCENE AND HEARD

Tonight's megafight will be attracting one of the biggest celebrity turnouts for a major fight in years. On the list: Leonardo DiCaprio, Michael Jordan, Jack Nicholson, Eva Longoria, "Spider Man" Tobey Maguire and Michael J. Fox.
