Oakland slaying suspect arrested in Las Vegas
A 28-year-old man wanted in connection with a slaying at an Oakland, Calif., nightclub in 2004 was arrested this week by a task force comprised of local police agencies and the FBI.
The man, Jetsae Martinez, was arrested as he left a Las Vegas residence about 10 a.m. Wednesday.
The arrest was the result of an investigation by the Criminal Apprehension Team, or CAT, which includes the Metropolitan Police Department, the Henderson Police Department and the FBI.
The team developed leads as to Martinez's possible aliases and his whereabouts.
Martinez is accused of shooting someone in the head after a fight in the nightclub.
He is being held at the Clark County Detention Center.
