Police identify man shot to death Sunday night

Las Vegas police are searching for the man who shot and killed another man Sunday night near an apartment complex on West Bonanza Road near Rancho Drive.

Police said 18-year-old Calvin Thompson, of Las Vegas, was found about 10:15 p.m. suffering from a gunshot wound near 2200 W. Bonanza. The man was pronounced dead shortly afterward.

Detectives said Thompson and a man were arguing when shots were fired.

No arrests had been made in the case as of this morning.

The suspect was described as black, about 6 feet 1 inch tall, 17 to 20 years old. His hair was in braids.
