Police investigating death of woman

Las Vegas police are investigating the suspicious death of a woman whose body was found late today in her apartment near Eastern Avenue and U.S. Highway 95.

Police did not identify the woman. Officers were called to 2900 E. Elm Ave. after an apartment manager found the body in a bedroom. The woman had not been seen in several days and had not paid rent, police said.

Police said she died from “unknown injuries.”
