Police say road rage behind attack shown in video

Las Vegas police are looking for a suspect who ran over a man after an apparent road rage incident in the southwest part of the valley Feb. 6.

Police said the victim drove into the gas station parking lot near Flamingo Road and Torrey Pines Drive right after 11:30 a.m. when a gray Honda Accord pulled in front of him, causing him to drive around the car to avoid an accident.

As the victim walked near the gas pumps, the driver of the Honda approached him at a high rate of speed, the report said. The driver then stopped just short of the victim before continuing forward and hitting him.

The driver then ran the man over as he fell to the ground.

The driver was last seen leaving the parking lot heading west on Flamingo. The vehicle is described as a 2010 or 2011 dark, gray Honda Accord with tint on the rear windows only. The Honda has a California license plate that begins with “6C.”

He was described as a man in his late 30s with a medium build.

The victim suffered significant injuries to his legs and was transported to University Medical Center.

Anyone with information is urged to call Las Vegas police at 702-828-5634 or Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
