Police seek help finding sexual assault suspect

Las Vegas police are searching for a man in connection with a sexual assault that occurred Wednesday morning in the east valley.

Police said a woman was walking about 9:30 a.m. in an apartment complex near Nellis Boulevard and Vegas Valley Drive when she was attacked by the suspect. He is described as a black man in his mid-20s with brown hair, brown eyes and short hair. He stands about 5 feet 6 inches tall, police said. He was last seen wearing dark clothing. He is described as clean shaven.

Police did not provide additional information in the assault.
