Quinceanera Expo dress show

Several young women from the Las Vegas Valley spent Sunday afternoon hanging out and modeling dress designs at the Quinceanera Expo at Texas Station Casino Hotel & Gambling Hall in Las Vegas on Feb. 12, 2012. The Quinceanera is the sometimes elaborate celebration of a young woman's 15th birthday that traditionally marks her passage into womanhood. Roberto Chavarin, who work for Quinceanera Magazine, the event's organizer, said families typically spend six months to one year planning for the special day. Over 60 vendors, including dress manufacturers, photographers and caterers set up shop at the annual event.
