Rees on hand for awards at club
February 12, 2008 - 10:00 pm
Katie Rees, the dethroned Miss Nevada USA, was back on the party scene Sunday, just days after spending 12 hours in jail on allegations of resisting arrest.
Rees showed up at The Bank, formerly Light nightclub at Bellagio, to take part in the "Women of the Night" awards, which the club gave out for "Sin City's sexiest movers and shakers."
Also honored was Rees' one-time friend, escort service operator Tiffany Masters. Rees was stripped of her Miss Nevada USA title after scandalous behavior and being listed on Masters' MySpace page.
Masters and Rees reportedly had a falling out last year and when asked to pose together for an award photo on Sunday, they declined.
Rees, 23, was arrested early Wednesday after a 3 a.m. confrontation with police. Rees, who claims she chipped a tooth in the incident, has reportedly had it fitted with a crown.

One of the funniest moments of Larry and Camille Ruvo's "Keep Memory Alive" Alzheimer's gala Saturday at the MGM Grand Convention Center came during a video segment on the evening's honoree, MGM Mirage executive Bobby Baldwin. Remember the classic Tiger Woods Nike commercial in which he bounced a golf ball off his clubhead? Baldwin appeared in spoofs of memorable commercials and film scenes. In a knockoff of Woods' bit, Baldwin one-upped Tiger by dribbling the ball off a club head and taking a call on his cell phone.
