Reno clerk accused of fondling undercover female officer

RENO - A 32-year-old convenience store clerk has been arrested after Reno police say he sold alcohol to a minor and fondled an undercover female officer.

Iqbal Sidhu was arrested Wednesday at the Grab and Go Market in Reno on suspicion of open and gross lewdness, battery with the intent to commit sexual assault, and selling alcohol to a minor.

Detectives say they've been investigating claims that Sidhu had been selling liquor to minors and had illegally touched teens, including a 14-year-old girl during an incident in May.

An officer posing as an 18-year-old girl Wednesday said Sidhu grabbed her breasts and sold her alcohol thinking she was underage.

Police say they believe Sidhu preyed on many other teens.
