Reward offered for information about missing woman

A $10,000 reward has been offered for information on the whereabouts of Billie Jean James, 67, who was reported missing last month.

James disappeared from her home near the M Resort, in the southern part of the valley, on April 22.

She is listed as 5 feet 8 inches tall and 140 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. She is a white woman with a medium complexion.

Her husband, Bill James, said she might have been wearing a light-colored sundress and dark pants.

Police have searched the desert area with dogs, helicopters and infrared heat sensors. Local hospitals and care centers also have been contacted, but police currently have no leads in the case.
