Sam’s Town 300 delayed due to rain

The light rain lasted for about 20 minutes at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and track drying equipment took over the track at 1:30 p.m.. If no more rain falls, the Sam's Town 300 NASCAR Nationwide race could begin by 3 p.m. The race is scheduled for 200 laps but can be determined to be an officially completed event if 101 laps are completed.
