Separate trials ordered in slaying of Palo Verde High School freshman
The two teenagers accused of shooting and killing a Palo Verde High School freshman were granted separate trials today.
They are scheduled to go to trial in July and August.
District Judge Stafany Miley granted Gerald Davison and Ezekiel Williams separate trials because one defendant's defense could hurt the other, said E. Brent Bryson, who is defending Williams.
The pair is accused of killing 15-year-old Christopher Privett in February.
