Six people accused in stock fraud indictment

A federal indictment, unsealed this afternoon in Las Vegas, accuses six people of defrauding investors out of more than $60 million.

According to the indictment, the defendants conspired between September 2001 and March 2009 "to fraudulently issue and sell unregistered shares" of stock in CMKM Diamonds.

Three of the defendants appeared before a Las Vegas judge today and were released on their own recognizance.
