Sparks father gets five-year sentence on child porn charges

RENO - A Sparks father has been sentenced to federal prison after pleading guilty to sharing child pornography on the Internet while using a neighbor's wireless account.
James Scoville, 26, was arrested following an undercover investigation by the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. He was accused of receiving and sharing child pornography last year between Oct. 19 and Nov. 15.
Scoville was sentenced Wednesday to a prison term of five years and three months and ordered to be supervised for 10 years after his prison term expires.
