A 29-year-old Las Vegas man was arrested Tuesday in Reno for causing the death of his 5-month-old daughter, Las Vegas police said.
Issac Hill was arrested on one count of murder by child abuse, police said.
Hill's infant daughter was taken to the University Medical Center May 5 with serious injuries. She died May 8, police said.
The Metropolitan Police Department's Crime Against Youth and Family Bureau reported that Hill was taking care of his daughter before she was taken to the hospital. Police said the baby's injuries were consistent with those of child abuse incidents.
Police said Hill was captured through a combined effort of Las Vegas police, the Reno Police Department and the FBI.
