Talent on tap for Las Vegas events
Lineups were announced Wednesday for the Miss Universe judges panel and Justin Timberlake's star-studded show in October.
Judging Monday's Miss Universe pageant at Mandalay Bay will be:
Luxor headliner/illusionist Criss Angel,veteran actor William Baldwin, drummer-percussionist Sheila E, MSNBC anchor Tamron Hall, U.S. gold medal skater Evan Lysacek, actor Chazz Palminteri, singer and actress Chynna Phillips, actress Jane Seymour and supermodel Niki Taylor.
Christina Aguilera, Sean "Diddy" Combs and Lady Antebellum bring their starpower to "Justin Timberlake and Friends" at Planet Hollywood on Oct. 23, the entertainment highlight of the Shriners Hospital for Children golf week.
Combs will be showcasing his new group, Diddy-Dirty Money.
Rounding out the big night at Planet Hollywood's Theater for the Performing Arts: hip hop icons Salt-N-Pepa, actress and singer-songwriter Selena Gomez & The Scene, R&B artist/music producer T-Pain, and FreeSol, a group Timberlake discovered in Memphis, his hometown.

Las Vegas radio deejay Chet Buchanan joins reigning Miss Universe Stefania Fernandez in co-hosting tonight's Miss Universe presentation show. The NBC.com webcast is expected to have more than a million listeners. Starting at 7 p.m., Buchanan, who helms "The Morning Zoo" at KLUC-FM, 98.5, and the former Miss Venezuela will introduce the 83 contestants in two hours. He will be back on stage Monday night for the pageant finals, providing snappy patter during the breaks. Bret Michaels and Natalie Morales are co-hosting the finals, which air on NBC (KSNV-TV, Channel 3, 9 p.m.) and Telemundo.
Former TV anchor man Kendall Tenney has jumped into the public relations business, named 10e (as in Tenney) and he has added a wingman, former KVBC (now KSNV), Channel 3, anchor Mitch Truswell. But Truswell may be reconsidering. Tenney is trying to talk him into joining him in leaping off the Stratosphere's new attraction, SkyJump, a 855-foot controlled drop much like a zip line. "Mitch is not a fan of heights," said Tenney, "so on my facebook page, www.facebook.com/10epr, people have pledged more than $300 to Make-a-Wish so far for him to take the plunge." Nudge, nudge...
Randy "The Natural" Couture will host the annual 2010 World MMA awards show Dec. 1 at the Palms' Pearl concert venue, it was announced Wednesday.
