Three stabbed, one fatally, in early morning incident
Three men were stabbed, one of them fatally, at a Denny’s parking lot early Sunday morning, Las Vegas police said.
Police did not release the name of the deceased man. A suspect was arrested in the incident, said Lt. Lew Roberts.
Roberts said police were called to the Denny’s at about 7:30 a.m. at 9310 W. Tropicana Avenue, near Ft. Apache Road.
Roberts said the suspect confronted the three men in the parking lot.
Roberts said the suspected appeared to be mad at one of the men for talking to a female the suspect was at the restaurant with.
“This was likely all over a female,”Roberts said.
He added the suspect then pulled out a knife and stabbed the three men.
The deceased male died at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center. Another man who was stabbed is also at that hospital seeking treatment, while a second injured man is at Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center.
