Two convicted in shooting
Two men on trial in connection with a 2007 bus stop shooting that wounded six people were convicted Friday in District Court.
A jury convicted Dresden Williams, 19, and Franklin Jackson, 18, of one count of conspiracy to commit murder and seven counts of attempted murder with a deadly weapon.
They were accused of shooting four high school students and two adults at a bus stop in December 2007 at Alexander and Walnut roads. No one suffered life-threatening wounds.
Nicco Tatum pleaded guilty last year to attempted murder with a deadly weapon in connection with the shooting. He received a six- to 26-year prison term.
