Video from slain driver’s taxi shows ‘persons of interest’

Las Vegas police Monday released a video of a young man and woman who were seen in a taxi before the driver was found dead early Friday morning near Mount Hood Street and Carey Avenue.

Tesfaye Arze, 30, from Las Vegas, died from a gunshot wound to the head, according to the Clark County coroner's office.

Police said Arze was slain about 3:30 a.m. in the 6300 block of High Sierra Avenue

Authorities are asking for the public's help in identifying the two passengers, who were described as "persons of interest."

Anyone with information about the identity or whereabouts of the two people is urged to call Las Vegas police's Homicide Section at 828-3521 or Crime Stoppers at 385-5555.
