Who’re going believe: The politicians or your lying eyes?

This past Saturday the president told a Democratic gathering how his policies have turned things around. “An economy that was contracting is now growing.  We’ve had nine consecutive months of private sector job growth.  The financial sector is stable.”

But ... he said people are still scared.

And that’s why the voters are so befuddled, Obama tells us, that “facts and science and argument does not seem to be winning the day all the time, is because we’re hard-wired not to always think clearly when we’re scared.”

This week Harry Reid explained to an interviewer that he, personally, saved us from worldwide depression.

Today the unemployment level in Las Vegas rose to a record 15 percent.
