‘Wicked’ kicks off full-length Broadway season at Smith Center

The first full-length Broadway Las Vegas season at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts features eight of Broadway's biggest hits, beginning with the worldwide phenomenon "Wicked," which will be performed Aug. 29 through Oct. 7. Other first-class titles in the season include "The Addams Family," "Billy Elliot," "West Side Story," "Shrek The Musical," Disney's "Beauty and the Beast," "Anything Goes" and "Catch Me If You Can." Broadway Las Vegas at The Smith Center will also feature two season specials, "La Cage Aux Folles" and Green Day's "American Idiot."

The inaugural Broadway Las Vegas season debuted in April with "The Color Purple." "Mary Poppins is showcased at The Smith Center through Sunday. Broadway musicals "Million Dollar Quartet," June 12-17, and "Memphis," July 18-22, complete the abbreviated season.

The Broadway Las Vegas eight-show package begins at $207. Season add-on specials "American Idiot" and "La Cage Aux Folles" begin at $24 per ticket. Individual tickets for "Wicked" are now on sale; tickets for the other shows will go on sale at a later date.
