Woman dies in Arizona crash
A Friday afternoon crash claimed the life of a Lake Havasu City woman.
Jill Gwen, 62, died shortly after she was transported to Havasu Regional Medical Center, police Sergeant Kirk Cesena said.
Cesena said the 2010 Kia Gwen was driving collided with a 2005 Chevrolet pickup truck at about 3:17 p.m. at the intersection of Silver Saddle Drive and Chemehuevi Boulevard. Investigators determined Gwen failed to yield while making a left turn at the intersection, Cesena said.
The driver of the pickup truck was transported to the hospital for treatment of non life-threatening injuries.
