Woman hospitalized in house fire
A Sunday house fire caused $300,000 worth of property damage and led to one person's hospitalization for smoke inhalation, the Las Vegas Fire Department said.
Spokesman Tim Szymanski said the cause of blaze, at 2208 Plaza Del Robles, near Valley View Boulevard and Sahara Avenue, was undetermined. Firefighters were alerted at 5:23 p.m.
Szymanski said the fire appeared to start on the first floor. Three people were home during the fire, but all escaped. Two people were treated for smoke inhalation on scene, while a third, a woman, was transported to University Medical Center. She had returned to the house to rescue a dog.
