Woman shot in parking lot identified

The 41-year-old woman shot April 14 in a North Las Vegas apartment complex has been identified as Irma Medina-Denajera of North Las Vegas.

The woman died on Sunday from her injuries, a gunshot wound to the head, according to the Clark County coroner's office.

The woman was shot while sitting in a car with a man.

The car was parked in the Rosemont Apartments parking lot on Las Vegas Boulevard North, south of Carey Avenue.

North Las Vegas police responded at 9:50 p.m. to reports of multiple gunshots.

The man who was with the victim is not a suspect, police said.
