A female pedestrian died after she was hit by a semitrailer early Monday on U.S. Highway 95 near Laughlin, Las Vegas police said.
The identities of the victim and the truck driver involved in the 5:36 a.m. crash were not released by Las Vegas police or the Nevada Highway Patrol.
The incident is under investigation.
It is unclear whether the incident was a suicide, said Nevada Highway Patrol trooper Kevin Honea.
