WRANGLERS FACE CYCLONES IN KELLY CUP FINALS
The Las Vegas Wranglers announced today the schedule for the 2008 Kelly Cup Finals.

Game 1: Las Vegas at Cincinnati - Saturday, May 24th at 4:30 PM (PDT) at U.S. Bank Arena
Game 2: Las Vegas at Cincinnati - Sunday, May 25th at 4:30 PM (PDT) at US Bank Arena
Game 3: Cincinnati at Las Vegas - Thursday, May 29th at 7:05 PM at Orleans Arena
Game 4: Cincinnati at Las Vegas - Friday, May 30th at 7:05 PM at Orleans Arena
Game 5: Cincinnati at Las Vegas - Monday, June 2nd at 7:05 PM at Orleans Arena - X
Game 6: Las Vegas at Cincinnati - Thursday, June 5th at 4:30 PM (PDT) at U.S. Bank Arena - X

The Wranglers enter the Kelly Cup Finals as the National Conference Champions against the American Conference Champion Cincinnati Cyclones. Cincinnati owns home-ice advantage in the best-of-seven series after finishing with 115 points and the Brabham Cup Championship (regular season champions).
The first two games of the series are in Cincinnati, OH at U.S. Bank Arena. Game One of the Kelly Cup Finals is Saturday, May 24th at 4:30 PM (PDT). Game Two of the Kelly Cup Finals is scheduled for Sunday, May 25th at 4:30 PM (PDT). The next three games of the series will shift to Las Vegas, NV at the Orleans Arena. Game Three will take place on Thursday, May 29th at 7:05 PM at the Orleans Arena. Game Four will start at 7:05 PM at the Orleans Arena on Friday, May 30th at the Orleans Arena. If necessary, Game Five will take place on Monday, June 2nd at 7:05 PM at the Orleans Arena. If needed, the last two games of the Finals would take place at the U.S. Bank Arena, starting on Thursday, June 5th at 4:30 PM (PDT) with Game Six. If necessary, Game Seven would be played on Saturday, June 7th at 4:30 PM (PDT).
Las Vegas set an ECHL record by becoming the first team to record three straight 100-point seasons after posting a 47-13-12 record for 106 points. Las Vegas recorded its second straight National Conference Regular Season Championship in 2007-08. The Wranglers defeated the Stockton Thunder in six games in the opening round of the playoffs. Las Vegas disposed of Alaska in five games in the second round and swept the Utah Grizzlies in the National Conference Finals.
Cincinnati recorded the second highest point total in ECHL history with 115 points after going 55-12-1-4 (.799 winning percentage). The 55 wins was the second-highest total in ECHL History. The Cyclones swept the Johnstown Chiefs in the first round of the playoffs. Cincinnati edged the Reading Royals in seven games to advance to the American Conference Finals. The Cyclones needed five games to beat South Carolina and advance to the Kelly Cup Finals.
