Hillary Clinton will visit Las Vegas on July 19

Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton will be visiting Las Vegas on July 19.

Clinton will make her visit at the 42nd international convention of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees.

The federation is backing Clinton, a former secretary of state, in her bid for the presidency. Clinton’s visit will be at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

She’ll be in Nevada, a crucial swing state in the election, just one week before the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia.

AFSCME has some 1.6 million members nationwide, a figure that represents public sector workers and retirees.

Clinton won the Nevada Democratic caucuses in February, beating Democratic opponent Bernie Sanders, an independent U.S. senator from Vermont. She has come back to Nevada since that win and spoke May 26 at the United Food & Commercial Workers International Union conference in Las Vegas.

Her visit will also come during the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, when Donald Trump is expected to officially become the GOP nominee.
