51s drop fifth straight game with 4-3 loss to Memphis

■ HIGHLIGHTS: At Memphis, Tenn., the 51s (60-53) suffered their fifth straight loss — matching their longest skid of the season. ... Las Vegas tied it 3-3 in the eighth inning, when Ruben Tejada walked and scored on a groundout by Zach Lutz, but Memphis (56-59) plated the decisive run in the bottom of the eighth. Kolten Wong drew a leadoff walk, took third on a single by Jamie Romak and scored on a sacrifice fly by Chad Huffman. ... The 51s put the tying run on base in the ninth, when Brian Bixler lined a leadoff single and took second on a sacrifice, but the next two batters were retired. .. Jamie Hoffmann homered for Las Vegas, which went 1-for-12 with runners in scoring position.
