51s ride three homers to fourth straight victory

Ryan Shealy, Ricardo Nanita and Jayson Nix homered Saturday to help lift the 51s to their fourth straight victory, a 7-5 win over the Salt Lake Bees in a Pacific Coast League game in Salt Lake City.

Shealy's two-run shot in the seventh inning, his ninth home run of the season, gave Las Vegas (67-68) a 4-3 lead, and the 51s didn't trail again.

Shealy singled with one out in the ninth and scored on Nanita's seventh homer of the season to put Las Vegas up 7-3.

Alexi Amarista and Paul McAnulty hit consecutive two-out RBI doubles in the bottom of the ninth. But 51s closer Danny Farquhar then relieved David Johnson and got cleanup hitter Jeff Baisley to ground out on his second pitch to end the game, earning his 14th save.

Nix hit an RBI single in the first inning and a solo homer in the fourth.

Freddy Sandoval hit a two-run shot in the fourth for the Bees (59-76).

Reliever Winston Abreu (7-5) got two outs in the sixth inning to earn the win.
