Mountain Ridge wins Little League West Regional opener over Dixie, Utah

Jaret Godman tossed a one-hitter and Nick Cornman and Karsonne Winters had two hits apiece as Mountain Ridge opened pool play Friday at the Little League Baseball West Regional in San Bernardino, Calif., with an 11-1 mercy-rule victory over Utah representative Dixie.
