Horse Racing, Hollywood Park, June 16

Today at Hollywood Park

Post Time 1 p.m.

Race 1 - 6 furlongs, Purse $29,000, Claiming $20,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

2 You Can Dream - No shame losing by 9-lengths to River Kiss in last; she's not here today and this spot is a lot easier.

4 So Tempted - Claimed by Julio Canani in last, typically a positive sign; positive surface switch from grass to synthetics.

Long Shot - 5 Finality Philly

Race 2 - 6 furlongs (turf), Purse $32,000, Claiming $25,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

5 Missdealornodeal - Red flag drop in class by Jerry Hollendorfer; her race two back, if repeated, would crush these.

8 Hakuchi - Tough post for this sprint, but has good closing ability; must break sharp for new pilot Kevin Krigger.

Long Shot - 4 Blue Samurai

Race 3 - 5 1/2 furlongs, $100,000 Willard L. Proctor Memorial; 2-year-olds

8 Undrafted - Was super impressive in debut win at Keeneland; may not want to go far, but he appears very fast.

6 Amarish - Morning line chalk ran big as a debut winner; cost a juicy $200K at Ocala, like the Scat Daddy pedigree.

Long Shot - 7 Just Call Me Al

Race 4 - 1 1/8th miles (turf), Purse $60,000, Optional claiming $100,000, 4-year-olds and up

5 Norvsky - Returns to grass, which is his preferred surface; is reunited with Rafael Bejarano who has 3 wins on him.

3 Hog's Hollow - Was the sacrificial lamb setting the pace in the San Juan Capistrano; this is clearly an easier spot.

Long Shot - 4 Haimish Hy

Race 5 - 6 furlongs, Purse $29,000, Claiming $20,000, 3-year-olds and up

3 Format V. - Mostly a turf resume, but his synthetic races are decent too; like being reunited with Rafael Bejarano.

5 Master Chef - Has a lot of speed in what could be a no passing zone race; Jerry Hollendorfer adding blinkers on too.

Long Shot - 1 Position A

Race 6 - 6 furlongs (turf), Purse $50,000, Maiden special weights, 3-year-olds and up

6 U S Citizen - You'll have a big edge over me in this field with so many FTS; watch the tote board for clues.

2 Northern Force - Garrett Gomez is riding in more cheap races and maiden races; if he doesn't he'll be sitting out a lot.

Long Shot - 4 Monster Hit

Race 7 - 5 1/2 furlongs, $100,000 Cinderella, Fillies, 2-year-olds

4 Miss Empire - Maidens win 2-YO stakes races a lot; the reason is this is more like a NW2L allowance than a graded stakes.

5 Tilde - Tepid chalk in a wide open stakes; you'll have an edge over me in seeing all of the tote board action.

Long Shot - 9 Unusual Way

Race 8 - 1 mile (turf), Purse $55,000, Optional claiming $62,500, 3-year-olds and up

8 Atticus Jack - He likes the distance and does well over Inglewood sod; was flattered when Rauschenberg won next out.

7 Akkadian - Dead late closer ran great last time off a 8-month hiatus; the key is if he regresses or repeats the race.

Long Shot - 10 Alley Hondro

Race 9 - 1 1/8th miles, $250,000 Vanity Handicap, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

2 Include Me Out - Ron Ellis is being repaid for his patience with a top older filly; remember the BC is in Arcadia this year.

1 Rock and Glory - His last two races have exploded her on the distaff scene; find out today if she is girl or amazon lady.

Long Shot - 7 Caelis

Race 10 - 7 furlongs, Purse $19,000, Maiden claiming $20,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

3 Briteyednbushytail - Dropping in class to the lowest class of her life; like that Garrett Gomez remains loyal to the cause.

6 Jenren Fitz Me - Mike Mitchell adding blinkers on for this bottom level maiden claimer; has started slowly twice now.

Long Shot - 2 Sing And Swing

Best Bet - 2 Include Me Out (race 9)
