1 Derringer - There are only four in the opener, but it’s a tight fit for whomever wins; saves all the ground inside.
5 Buckleberry Grey - Claimed by Doug O’Neill off a sharp victory; has a good post to stalk the early pacesetters.
Long Shot - 2 Success Rate
Race 2 - 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $19,000, Maiden claiming $30,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
6 Bella Breeze - Her debut race, if repeated tonight, would absolutely crush these; Doug O’Neill adding blinkers on for focus.
7 Pretty Patricia - FTS from the maestro Jerry Hollendorfer; has been training the whole time at Los Alamitos so has home field advantage.
Long Shot - 4 Dotted Princess
Race 3 - 1 mile, Purse $21,000, Starter allowance $16,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
5 Light Striker - Second start off the claim by Julio Canani; ran well on grass in last, now switching back to the main dirt track.
4 Shopping Savannah - Another horse just claimed by Doug O’Neill; he is active this meet as he looks to win races and prep for Del Mar.
Long Shot - 3 Wild Caroline
Race 4 - 1 mile, Purse $17,000, Claiming $12,500, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
1 I Heart You - Claimed by Chuck Treece who knows a thing or two about winning at Los Alamitos; saves ground and rallies fast late.
6 Warrens Goldnugget - Sliding down the claiming ladder to this new low level; broke her maiden with an off the turf try.
Long Shot - 3 Teasing Moment
Race 5 - 6 furlongs, Purse $30,000, Starter allowance $40,000, 3-year-olds and up
3 Oil - Did everything but win last time in a large effort; this has to be an easier group than he faced at Santa Anita.
4 Distinctive B - Just graduated for a maiden claiming $20K tag; this is a big class rise in facing winners for the first time.
Long Shot - 5 Bandido Too
Race 6 - 5 furlongs, Purse $15,000, Claiming $8,000, 3-year-olds and up
6 Frensham - Has a lot of back class so will need a strong memory to top these tonight; has been well bet in his last five starts.
3 Sir Barclay - Was trained by Steve Knapp last time out; blinkers on tonight, he won his lone Los Alamitos start last December.
Long Shot - 2 Mason B
Race 7 - 1 mile, Purse $16,000, Claiming $10,000, 3-year-olds and up
2 Antinanco - Claimed by Steve Miyadi last time out; sat a nice stalking trip, the speed of the speed should be to his inside.
7 Rambling House - A parking lot post at a mile here is not as much of a detriment; Flavien Prat exited a tremendous meet at Santa Anita.
Long Shot - 1 Atascaderan
Race 8 - 6 furlongs, Purse $46,000, Optional claiming $40,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
6 Super Majesty - Was very impressive winning first out for Jerry Hollendorfer; cost $400K so a lot has been expected of her.
1 Stealth Drone - Claimed two back by top trainer Peter Miller; tried the hillside course in last, now returns to a prefereed dirt surface.
Long Shot - 3 Ultimate Holiday
Race 9 - 5 furlongs, Purse $23,000, Maiden claiming $50,000, Cal-breds, Fillies, 2-year-olds
9 Briana Jean - Ran evenly in her career debut; there is not much to go by in here, keep an eye on the many FTS in case one is live.
8 Awesome Romance - If you are live in the Pick 6 or Pick 4, I hope you are spread out in the finale; watch the tote board for clues.
