3 Quay Factor - Has not been seen since a clunker in June; her two races before that were promising, Peter Miller adding blinkers on.

Long Shot - 2 Belle of the Fleet

Race 3 - 7 furlongs, Purse $23,000, Maiden claiming $30,000, Fillies, 3-year-olds

5 Powerful Girl - More Hector Palma love with this maiden; her race two back was faster and beats these if repeated this afternoon.

7 Twinkle Toes - Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; need not be much to be competitive with these.

Long Shot - 2 She Got Away

Race 4 - 1 1/8th miles, Purse $58,000, Optional claiming $40,000, 4-year-olds and up

3 Catch a Flight - Lot of contentious races on the card; not necessarily classy animals, but pretty well matched.

1 Rprettyboyfloyd - Like the idea of saving ground in this 9 furlong test; most of these horses probably don’t want to go this far.

Long Shot - 8 Well Measured

Race 5 - 1 mile (turf, rail at 24 feet), Purse $56,000, Maiden special weights, 3-year-olds

9 Temple Keys - Sire Temple City was a hard knocking turf router; with this pedigree they expected better, Mike Smith gets the nod.

4 Air Nashoba - Been a bit disappointing so far; the key for Carla Gaines is this colt is protected so she’s hoping for better.

Long Shot - 10 Joshie Hit a Homer

Race 6 - 1 1/16th miles, Purse $26,000, Starter allowance $12,500, 4-year-olds and up

6 Persuasive Paul - The shortest priced favorite on the card switches to dirt after a nice turf score; he is 3-of-5 wins on the main dirt.

7 Carlot Cowboy - Has changed hands more often than a U-Haul rental truck; solid dirt resume and in the hands of sharp Bill Spawr.

Long Shot - 2 Image of Joplin

Race 7 - 6 1/2 furlongs (turf, rail at 24 feet), Purse $58,000, Optional claiming $40,000, 4-year-olds and up

9 Skylander - Do not mind the parking lot post going down the hillside turf course; Mike Smith is getting better with age.

5 Guggenheim - Well regarded colt finally broke thru with a win last time; it took a switch to grass and the hill, but voila, victory.

Long Shot - 2 Eddie’s First

Race 8 - 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $23,000, Maiden claiming $30,000, Fillies, 3-year-olds

10 Ritzy Tags - Bob Baffert doesn’t usually keep culls like this very long; finally ran a decent race last time for this modest price tag.

7 Oleanderpolarbear - Showed a little gumption early on before tiring late; none of these horses is much, so watch the tote board for clues.

Long Shot - 9 Kelbaker

Best Bet - 5 Powerful Girl (race 3)
