7 Bipartisan - Sliding down the maiden claiming ladder to this bottom level; blinkers on in a now or never try.
1 Monster Hit - Lots of respect for the connections; Mike Mitchell legs up Gary Stevens.
Long Shot - 10 Spirit of Lindy
Race 2 - 6 furlongs, Purse $23,000, Claiming $16,000, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up
2 Roll Your Eyes - Taken by Julio Canani who is lights out first off the claim; one step improvement wins this.
4 Queen Mercury - Ran horribly in last; her race two back is clearly fast enough to upset these.
Long Shot - 5 Quick Wampum
Race 3 - 6 1/2 furlongs (turf, rail at 30 feet), Purse $56,000, Maiden special weights, Cal-breds, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up
3 Unbridled Ambition - Has been favored in all 3 career starts; she's lost them all too, but clearly has some ability.
5 Marcyjane - Marty Jones has an uncoupled entry; the race goes thru his barn, this filly is the morning line chalk.
Long Shot - 10 Fabulous Fashion
Race 4 - 6 furlongs, Purse $23,000, Maiden claiming $30,000, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up
2 Too Five n' Ten - In a field this poor, early speed is a valuable weapon; the one to catch in a terrible group.
4 Sister Esperanza - Suspect will get a nice sitting trip off the early speed; may inherit the lead late, or may not.
Long Shot - 1 Samurai Jess
Race 5 - 6 1/2 furlongs (turf, rail at 30 feet), Purse $30,000, Starter allowance $40,000, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up
8 So She Dances - She broke her maiden down the hillside turf course; tiny edge in the hardest race on the card.
7 Horsesanddivorces - Tepid chalk in a wide open affair; tactical speed to sit a nice trip throughout.
Long Shot - 4 Miss Lady Ellen
Race 6 - 1 mile, Purse $58,000, Optional claiming $80,000, 3-year-olds and up
1 Appealing Tale - Won his MSW in last while running a much slower Beyer; exits a bullet workout too.
6 Code West - Bob Baffert has an uncoupled entry in here; a little late for these to get on the KY Derby trail.
Long Shot - 7 Kochees
Race 7 - 1 mile (turf, rail at 30 feet), Purse $60,000, 4-year-olds and up
4 Causeithertz - Bob Baffert could dominate the last pick 4; this field is full of horses who don't like to win races.
2 Gab Power - Dead late closer has won nearly $300K the hard way; will sit in arrears and make one outside brush.
Long Shot - 7 Money Talker
Race 8 - 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $23,000, Maiden claiming $30,000, Fillies, 3-year-olds
6 Gift Receipt - Michael Ewing barn has won a couple good races this meet already; sliding down the maiden claiming ladder.
