Race 3 - 1 mile, Purse $56,000, Maiden special weights, Cal-breds, 3-year-olds and up

1 Howdy - Sprinting stretching out draws the advantageous rail at one mile; short run to the first turn and can save all of the ground.

4 Air Nashoba - Has the pedigree to be any kind, but has yet to show it; the fact he has been gelded so soon should tell you something.

Long Shot - 8 Book Thirty Four

5 Tigah - Has been claimed in 3-of-5 recent starts; was flattered in last when Ezio won next time out.

3 Sizzlin’ Joe - Dead late closer has a tendency to be a stride late; horses like this are always at the mercy of the early pace.

Long Shot - 7 Jomelo

2 Proud Vixen - Second start off a 3-month hiatus; got some useful conditioning in last, is dropped in class, should go better tonight.

7 Shopping Savannah - Claimed by Matt Chew off a win for Art Sherman; Chew barn has been hot, but Sherman’s tough to improve off of.

Long Shot - 6 Winninginfashion

Race 6 - 1 1/8th miles (turf, rail at 24 feet), Purse $60,000, Optional claiming 462,500, 4-year-olds and up

1 Awesome Return - Dead late closer will hope for some pace up front to chase; lost be a few inches in last despite a huge late rally.

Long Shot - 9 Opsec

Race 7 - 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $58,000, Optional claiming $20,000, Cal-breds, 4-year-olds and up

Race 8 - 6 1/2 furlongs (turf, rail at 24 feet), Purse $35,000, Maiden claiming $75,000, 3-year-olds and up

6 Currency Exchange - Takes the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; Rafael Bejarano for the injured Corey Nakatani.

3 Big Hat Charlie - Showed gumption running a mile distance in last; like the cutback in distance where he could hang around longer.
