4 Cabo Chico - Figures to be the speed of the speed here; his race two back is the one worth repeating.
5 Fire in the Wind - Aggressive rise off a second place finish facing easier; appears in good form right now.
Long Shot - 6 Lord Vronsky
Race 2 - 6 furlongs, Purse $23,000, Maiden claiming $30,000, Fillies, 3-year-olds
8 Acute - Sliding down the claiming ladder to this lowest level; strong combo of Mike Mitchell and Julien Leparoux.
7 Swiss Key - FTS from Kory Owens; has quick speed pedigree, barn also knows how to pop them first out.
Long Shot - 6 Coconut Cream Pie
Race 3 - 1 1/16th miles, Purse $17,000, Claiming $8,000, 4-year-olds and up
5 Genius Level - Trainer John Martin doesn’t start many in SoCal, but they are usually live; need not be much to upset here.
1 Unexpected Gift - For forgiving handicappers; his race two back is fast enough to upset these.
Long Shot - 7 Poker Dave
Race 4 - 6 1/2 furlongs (turf, rail at 8 feet), Purse $56,000, Maiden special weights, Fillies, 3-year-olds
1 Charm Catcher - Impressive, but green, debut; she got off dead last, but once in stride came flying down the lane late.
9 Ocean’s of Money - Ran well for the price tag in debut and for MSW in last; she shows she has some bottom to her.
Long Shot - 2 Divine Tale
Race 5 - 1 mile, Purse $20,000, Claiming $16,000, 4-year-olds and up
2 Awesome Year - Claimed by Robertino Diodoro off a sharp win; is well spotted to possibly repeat.
3 Bay Rush - Ran like a dead short horse in last off a 8-month hiatus; has to be a lot tighter tonight.
Long Shot - 4 Just Tripping
Race 6 - 6 1/2 furlongs (turf, rail at 8 feet), Purse $58,000, Allowance, 4-year-olds and up
8 Summer Hit - Ran the kind of race last out that can win this today; stalk the early pace and fight it out late.
1 Guest Star - Has run three big races in a row; has shown excellent early speed in those races too.
Long Shot - 11 Distort This
Race 7 - 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $35,000, Claiming $32,000, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up
7 Appealing Resume - Like the parking lot post to clock the early speed; closer can benefit from a fast early pace.
3 Roar Baby Roar - Logical chalk off a dead game win in last; claimed by Peter Miller who retains Rafael Bejarano.
Long Shot - 2 Conkate
Race 8 - 6 1/2 furlongs (turf, rail at 8 feet), $75,000 Wishing Well, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up
5 Nechez Dawn - Gets class relief from the grade 1 La Brea for this; fast enough to boss these wire to wire.
10 Purim’s Dancer - Gary Stevens won his first stakes back on Saturday with Slim Shadey; riding is excellent form.
Long Shot - 1 Byrama
Race 9 - 7 furlongs, Purse $19,000, Maiden claiming $20,000, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up
2 Racy Rosa - Decent effort in last off a 2-month hiatus; Brice Blanc can sit a trip and grind it out late.
8 Tiz Lovely - The 10-pound apprentice rode like one in last; had a clear lead late but could not finish.
