Cimarron-Memorial tops Mojave in boys volleyball
Dustin Larsen had 12 kills and six digs to lead Cimarron-Memorial's boys volleyball team to a 25-14, 25-13, 19-25, 25-20 road win over Mojave on Friday night.
Taylor Sorenson added 31 assists for the Spartans, and teammate Scott Beckwith had nine kills and seven digs.
• Coronado 3, Green Valley 1 -- At Green Valley, Chris Austin had 12 kills and 10 digs to help Coronado to a 24-26, 25-19, 25-15, 25-14 victory over the Gators.
Eric Boman added 16 kills and Howie Wu 33 assists for the Cougars.
Cameron Olsen had nine kills and six blocks and Chris Mortenson nine kills and eight digs for Green Valley.
• Foothill 3, Tech 1 -- At Tech, Cody Clay had 10 kills, 12 digs and three aces to help Foothill down Tech 24-26, 25-15, 25-13, 26-24.
Jordan Monga added 15 assists, four aces and three blocks for the Falcons.
Antonio Garcia had six digs, five kills and five blocks for the Roadrunners.
• Silverado 3, Del Sol 0 -- At Silverado, Trevik Jenkins had nine kills and six digs in the Skyhawks' 25-15, 25-17, 25-22 win over the Dragons.
Christian Espina added eight kills and Nick McArthur-Reynolds 15 assists for the Skyhawks.
• Centennial 3, Legacy 0 -- At Centennial, Drew Staker had 10 kills and Drew Smith six aces to help the Bulldogs beat the Longhorns 25-10, 25-20, 25-8.
Seth Mitchell added 18 assists for Centennial. Ethan Ewing led Legacy in blocks with five.
• Basic 3, Liberty 0 -- At Liberty, Jensen Lavallee had seven kills and five aces and Austin Hafen four kills to lead the Wolves over the Patriots 25-11, 25-23, 25-8.
Michael Lunen had 10 assists for Basic. Jamie Acayan had four kills and Devon Gonzales four blocks for Liberty.
• Shadow Ridge 3, Arbor View 0 -- At Shadow Ridge, Jeremy Makaiwi had 14 assists and Jake Shea eight kills and 10 assists to lead the Mustangs over the Aggies 25-11, 25-22, 25-22.
Ryan Nolan had eight kills and seven blocks for Shadow Ridge. Arbor View's Matt Ward had 21 assists and three blocks, and Zac Reese and Ray Lewis each had seven kills for the Aggies.
• Palo Verde 3, Cheyenne 0 -- At Palo Verde, Adam Nieman had 22 assists as the Panthers cruised to a 25-11, 25-17, 25-22 victory over Desert Shields.
Clayton Worthen and Tyson Maniuriani each had eight kills for the Panthers.
