Class 4A Sunset, Sunrise meets to begin today at Del Sol

The Class 4A Sunset and Sunrise region track and field meets will begin at 3 p.m. today at Del Sol.

In the Sunset, region finals are scheduled in the boys shot put, boys triple jump, boys pole vault, girls 3,200-meter relay and girls high jump, all at 3 p.m.; girls long jump and girls discus, both at 5:30; and boys 3,200, at 6:20.

In the Sunrise, region finals are scheduled in the girls long jump and girls discus, both at 3 p.m.; girls 3,200 relay, at 3:15; boys shot put, boys triple jump, boys pole vault and girls high jump, all at 5:30; and boys 3,200, at 6:40.

On Friday, Sunset finals will be contested in the boys high jump, boys discus, boys 3,200 relay, girls triple jump and girls pole vault, all at 3 p.m.; boys long jump and girls shot put, both at 5:30; and girls 3,200, at 6:20.

Friday's Sunrise finals will be in the girls shot put and boys long jump, both at 3 p.m.; boys 3,200 relay, at 3:15; girls triple jump, girls pole vault, boys high jump and boys discus, all at 5:30; and girls 3,200, at 6:40.
