■ HIGHLIGHTS: At Cashman Field, Nolan Arenado and Ryan Wheeler each had two doubles and three RBIs and seven players had at least two hits in the Sky Sox’s 17-hit attack. … Colorado Springs (6-3), which had nine extra-base hits, scored three runs in the first, when it batted around the order, and two in the second for a 5-0 lead and never trailed. … Las Vegas (5-5), which scored three in the third and three n the fifth, trailed 8-6 in the seventh when it loaded the bases with no outs. But the 51s stranded the runners — as Zach Lutz flew out to right field, Jamie Hoffmann flew out to center and Reese Havens struck out — and the Sky Sox added three in the eighth to seal their fourth straight win.
