Expect shootout in Philly

Anticipation is high for a Sunday night shootout in Philadelphia, where the Eagles' Donovan McNabb and the Dallas Cowboys' Tony Romo will duel for the NFC East lead.

In three of the past four meetings, the teams combined to score more than 50 points. In the teams' first meeting of the past two seasons, Romo put on a show by passing for more than 300 yards with three touchdowns in victories.

Romo is in one of his famous grooves right now where he's hitting just about everything on target. In his past three games, he has thrown for 918 yards and eight touchdowns with no interceptions. Those games were against marginal opponents, but Romo is coming into November, his best month record-wise and statistically.

McNabb pilots a Philadelphia offense that has been piling up points -- with the exception of the loss at Oakland -- since he came back from a rib injury. McNabb has passed for 929 yards and seven touchdowns with no interceptions in his past four games.

Because of the expected nature of this high-scoring game and the ability of these quarterbacks to hit the big play, the beneficiaries will be Eagles receivers DeSean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin and Cowboys receivers Miles Austin, Patrick Crayton and maybe even the pouting Roy Williams.

Two of the NFL's better tight ends, the Eagles' Brent Celek and the Cowboys' Jason Witten, should get plenty of receptions.

Both teams also feature explosive running backs, so this should be the fantasy scoring festival of the week.

DELHOMME GOES HOME -- Carolina's upset victory at Arizona in Week 8 was a good sign for fantasy owners of wide receiver Steve Smith, who is reliant on the success of quarterback Jake Delhomme, a Louisiana native. Until last week, things were bleak for the Delhomme-Smith duo, which had not connected for a touchdown all season.

Delhomme was on the verge of being benched with his 13 interceptions, but the Panthers played it conservative with their power running game, and eventually Smith turned a short pass into a 50-yard touchdown.

Going to New Orleans for a little home cooking could be just what the Cajun doctor ordered. In his past five games against the Saints, Delhomme has eight touchdown passes with only one interception. In each of Smith's past two games against the Saints, he's had more than 120 yards.

With the way the Saints put points on the board, Delhomme will have to produce, and history says he should despite his troubles this season. It might sound crazy, but Delhomme could be a viable option as a fantasy starter because of his scoring opportunities, should you have a quarterback like Brett Favre on a bye this week.

Favre and the Vikings are off this week, along with Buffalo, Cleveland, the New York Jets, Oakland and St. Louis.

ROSTER HELP? -- Here are some players who should produce right away and could be available to pick up:

-- Sam Aiken, WR, Patriots: Aiken, who had a 54-yard touchdown in his last game, moves up to fill New England's No. 3 role because of injuries and the release of Joey Galloway.

-- Malcom Floyd, WR, Chargers: Chris Chambers was released, so Floyd will see increased playing time as the No. 2 wideout in the high-powered San Diego aerial attack.

-- Mike Wallace, WR, Steelers: He has gained the trust of quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and has been the first look over the middle in several instances, scoring in two of his past three games.

-- Jamaal Charles, RB, Chiefs: Charles could be just a one-week rental, but he also could win the job with a good showing in what has been a nonexistent Kansas City running game.

-- Fred Davis, TE, Redskins: He's filling in for the injured Chris Cooley the next three weeks, and the tight end is a big part of the limited Washington offense. Davis had eight catches for 78 yards and a TD against the Eagles.
