* LAKE MEAD -- Striper boils have been reported. Anglers have been successful for stripers using top-water lures and anchovies in the Vegas Wash Area. The Overton Arm also has provided fast, top-water striper action. Catfish are also biting anchovies fished on the bottom.

Boulder Beach has been slow for the past few weeks, but anglers are still catching fish.

* LAKE MOHAVE -- Trout fishing at Willow Beach has been good to fair for anglers from or near the fishing pier. Baits of choice include PowerBait, salmon eggs and Velveeta cheese.

Striper anglers have been successful down river for fish between 4 and 25 pounds. AC Plugs, Spro lures, LA Sliders and anchovies are catching the fish.

At Cottonwood Cove, striper fishing has been fair. Stripers are being caught north of the cove while trolling or still-fishing with anchovies. Catfish in the 2- to 4-pound range are taking anchovies and stink-baits.

* URBAN PONDS -- Catfish have slowed down after the recent plant. But sunfish and bass are on the bite. School groups have reported catching up to 40 sunfish in the mornings using mealworms.

* KIRCH WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREA -- Though storms have been passing through Clark County, the reservoirs at Kirch have seen little to no precipitation. Bass fishing has been good. Black and blue plastics and dragonfly patterns have been productive. Anglers are catching some trout.

* EAGLE VALLEY RESERVOIR -- Trout fishing continues to be good. Successful anglers are using PowerBait and worms fished near the bottom.

* ECHO CANYON RESERVOIR -- Trout fishing still is slow, but crappie and bass are being caught on a regular basis. Fly-patterns and jigs are catching crappie, and bass are taking hardware.
