Gallagher’s goal lifts Wranglers to shootout win over Aces
Blake Gallagher scored in the sixth round of a shootout, giving the Wranglers a 3-2 victory over the Alaska Aces in an ECHL game in Anchorage.
Both teams missed their first five attempts of the shootout before Gallagher converted for Las Vegas (33-19-3), and Wranglers goaltender Michael Ouzas then completed a perfect shootout by stopping Scott Burt.
Blair Riley scored in the first period for the Wranglers, and Jerry Pollastrone had a second-period goal.
