One Vote - Was ill suited for a turf route in last; claimed by A.C. Avila, he's got a good synthetic resume.

Long Shot - Benezit

Race 2 - 5 furlongs (turf, rail at 14 feet), Purse $57,000, Optional claiming $40,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

Speedin Excess - Sharp win last time in similar conditions; should see plenty of pace to chase, be along in time.

Via Veneto - Figures to be the speed of the speed; key will be the turf rail out 14 feet to aide her cause.

Long Shot - Vegas Wedding

Race 3 - 1 mile, Purse $35,000, Claiming $25,000, Fillies, 3-year-olds

Dave's Revenge - Won as easily as you'll see a $16K claimer win; claimed by Peter Miller, more left in the tank.

Saintly Revenge - Claimed by Jeff Mullins off a sharp win; it's never easy winning three races in a row at any level.

Long Shot - Voodoo's Vision

Race 4 - 6 furlongs, Purse $19,000, Claiming $12,500, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up

Kiss the Cooke - Third start off a 5-month hiatus; nice win from post 10 in last, figures to hold her good form.

Steppin Out Rose - Dead late closer should see plenty of cheap speed in here; Joe Talamo sits a trip and fires late.

Long Shot - Bewitching Gem

Race 5 - 6 furlongs, Purse $19,000, Maiden claiming $25,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

I.B. Stormin - Been away 8-months, showed talent before retiring; big class drop, fresh, fit and dangerous.

Eclipse Syrah - Speedball has done a pop and stop in every start; she's never faced this weak a field before.

Long Shot - Sleeping Sioux

Race 6 - 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $57,000, Optional claiming $40,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

Unzip Me - Can see Joe Talamo sitting a perfect pocket trip; tons of early speed can set up the late closers.

Stash - Chance to be the speed of the speed; Mike Smith had multiple choices, opted to ride for Bruce Headley.

Long Shot - Dish the Dirt

Race 7 - 6 furlongs, Purse $51,000, Maiden special weights, 2-year-olds

Winter Canyon - Favored in debut, ran like a green colt, slow early, fast late; Richard Mandella using the bugboy.

Get My Fix - If a speedball is going to steal it, this could be the guy; provides the target for the others.

Long Shot - The Skinny Man

Race 8 - 1 mile (turf, rail at 14 feet), $300,000 Del Mar Handicap, 3-year-olds and up

Becrux - John Sadler scratched him for this; good second to Colonel John who would be heavily favored here.

Monterey Jazz - Speedball has yet to win a race at Del Mar; turn back to a mile is good, it's his best distance.

Long Shot - Ferneley

Race 9 - 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $51,000, Maiden special weights, Cal-breds, Fillies, 2-year-olds

Miss Georgie Girl - Kin to Georgie Boy got an education in debut; figures to be much tighter in start two.

Excellent News - Did a classic pop and stop in debut; Bob Baffert babies typically improve with racing.

Long Shot - Judge Joan

Race 10 - 1 mile (turf, rail at 14 feet), Purse $35,000, Claiming $32,000, 4-year-olds and up

Tiz Afire - Hasn't started in 13-months for Marty Jones; among many returnees, you must demand value.

Taco Willy - Garrett Gomez is waking up from his summer slumber; ran fast enough last time to upset these.
