Lopez-Marquez fight rescheduled for Nov. 6
The WBO world featherweight title fight between Juan Manuel Lopez and Rafael Marquez has been rescheduled for Nov. 6 at the MGM Grand Garden.
The fight was scheduled for Sept. 18, but was postponed on Aug. 20 when Marquez injured his right thumb after his hand got caught in the door of a car two days earlier.
Tickets already purchased for the fight will be honored on Nov. 6. Ticket-holders who are unable to attend on the new date can receive a refund by going through the place of purchase.
Also: Vyacheslav Senchenko (31-0, 20 knockouts) of Ukraine retained his welterweight title with a unanimous decision over Charlie Jose Navarro of Venezuela in Donetsk, Ukraine.

Bradley to remain on as U.S. coach through 2014
Bob Bradley will remain coach of the U.S. men's soccer team through the 2014 World Cup.
U.S. Soccer announced it had agreed to a four-year contract extension with Bradley, whose current deal expires in December. Bradley is 38-20-8 over the last four years, including a victory over then-No. 1 Spain at last year's Confederations Cup. The Americans reached the second round at the World Cup in South Africa before losing to Ghana.
Also: Real Madrid winger Cristiano Ronaldo will be out three weeks after injuring his ankle in his team's Spanish league opener.
Madrid said on its website that the Portugal international star was hurt in the 0-0 draw with Mallorca a day earlier.
Former Argentine soccer star Francisco Varallo, the last surviving player from the first World Cup in 1930, died in Buenos Argentina. He was 100.

Motorcycle racing union to review safety rules
The U.S. Grand Prix Racers Union is promising a review of its motorcycle racing safety rules, conceding it never will be able to eliminate the dangers in a high-speed sport where teenage competitors are the norm.
One day after 13-year-old Peter Lenz of Vancouver, Wash., was killed in Indianapolis, the union's chief steward, Stewart Aitken-Cade, said officials will review all safety measures, including new age limits.
A formal investigation, however, is not planned.
Also: Former West Virginia star Da'Sean Butler signed with the Miami Heat, becoming the team's 18th player under contract.
Butler was the 42nd pick in this year's draft. He was projected as a potential lottery choice before he tore a ligament in his left knee during the Mountaineers' Final Four loss to eventual NCAA champion Duke.
The Arena Football League will add new teams in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, San Jose and Kansas City and expand its schedule to 18 games next season for the 19-team league.
