INTERNET ONLY: Keil’s kills carry Trailblazers to boys volleyball victory

Frank Keil had 15 kills as Durango's boys volleyball team outlasted visiting Canyon Springs, 25-16, 25-16, 15-25, 17-25, 15-7 on Friday.
Darren Torrie added 28 assists for the Trailblazers. Jared Parker had five kills and three blocks, and Velmin Husic added five kills.
• Bishop Gorman 3, Spring Valley 0 -- At Spring Valley, Jake Houser had 11 kills and 11 assists to help the Gaels gain a 25-23, 25-16, 25-22 victory over the Grizzlies.
Kamana Kaimikaua had 16 assists, Riley Foley had 15 digs, and Alex Turner added 10 kills for Gorman.
Chance Comrie supplied 15 assists for Spring Valley, and Thomas Ricca added eight kills.
• Desert Pines 3, Chaparral 0 -- At Chaparral, Paul Burns had 20 kills and Allen Paganelli contributed 10 digs and five aces to carry the Jaguars over the Cowboys, 25-21, 25-8, 25-12.
Carlos Chandia had 14 assists, and DeAndrea Marshall had five kills and two blocks for Chaparral.
• Sierra Vista 3, Western 0 -- At Sierra Vista, Kohl Homeyer had six kills, and Ethan Kral added four kills and five aces as the Lions beat the Warriors, 25-15, 25-11, 25-18.
• Centennial 3, Silverado 0 -- At Centennial, Jeff Mecham dished 37 assists to help the Bulldogs defeat the Skyhawks, 30-28, 25-11, 25-18.
Spencer Olsen added 15 kills and five blocks for Centennial. Drew Staker had 10 kills and five blocks, and Chey McDonald had nine digs.
Trevik Jenkins led the Skyhawks with 10 kills and 15 digs, and Talon Goon had 13 digs.
• Bonanza 3, Clark 0 -- At Bonanza, Jesse Mackay had 37 assists and two aces in the Bengals' 25-10, 25-9, 25-22 victory over the Chargers.
Matt Vu added nine kills and eight digs for Bonanza, and Matt Andrews had eight kills and four blocks.
• Coronado 3, Tech 0 -- At Coronado, Bryan Arana compiled 11 kills, seven digs and three aces to help the Cougars to a 25-14, 25-14, 25-11 victory over the Roadrunners.
Kevin Foutz added 27 assists for the Cougars, and Bryan Glenn had six kills.
• Las Vegas 3, Valley 0 -- At Valley, Danny Farias had 23 assists and two kills and Aaron Hansen had eight kills to lead the Wildcats over the Vikings, 25-17, 25-13, 25-14.
Matt Young made 15 digs for Las Vegas. Valley's Alonzo Blount had eight kills, and Jimmy Videaux had 12 assists and two kills.
