INTERNET ONLY: Mojave rallies past Cheyenne in boys volleyball

Tony Vaz had 15 kills, 20 assists and two aces Monday as Mojave's boys volleyball team rallied for a 23-25, 22-25, 25-21, 27-25, 15-7 home win over Cheyenne.

Alex Montgomery had 26 kills and four aces for the Rattlers.

Ricky Fonbuena had five kills for the Desert Shields.

• Del Sol 3, Foothill 2 -- At Del Sol, Eddlys Garcia had eight kills, eight digs and four aces to help the Dragons rally to earn a 25-18, 18-25, 23-25, 25-13, 15-7 victory over the Falcons.

Bryan Grenier added 11 assists, seven kills and four aces for Del Sol, and teammate Harrison Dennis had six kills.

Jordan Monga had 10 kills for Foothill.

• Liberty 3, Tech 2 -- At Tech, David Fuentes had 33 assists and five kills to help the Patriots bounce back from two games down and earn a 20-25, 20-25, 25-18, 25-19, 15-13 road win.

Paul Acluba had 16 assists and Jamie Acayan nine kills for Liberty.

Devon Gonzalez added nine kills and six blocks and Sean Hudman 12 assists for the Patriots.

• Palo Verde 3, Legacy 0 -- At Legacy, Adam Nieman dished out 21 assists in Palo Verde's 25-15, 25-15, 25-11 win over Legacy.

Clayton Worthen had 10 kills and Connor Metcalf 12 assists for the Panthers.

Steven Leavitt had seven assists and Benjamin Noel four kills for the Longhorns.

• Centennial 3, Arbor View 0 -- At Centennial, Spencer Olsen had 14 kills to help the Bulldogs defeat Arbor View 25-20, 25-15, 25-21.

Jeff Mecham had 35 assists, Chey McDonald 12 digs and Drew Staker eight kills for Centennial.

Zac Reese had seven kills, Michael Cable and Nathan Stewart six kills each and Matt Ward 32 assists for the Aggies.

• Shadow Ridge 3, Cimarron-Memorial 2 -- At Shadow Ridge, Preston Simper had 14 kills and 10 blocks to help the Mustangs nip the Spartans 25-18, 21-25, 25-23, 23-25, 15-7.

Jeremy Makaiwa had 24 assists and Kyle Connor 14 kills for Shadow Ridge.

Dustin Larsen had 17 kills and 10 digs and Matt Mortenson 15 digs, eight kills and eight blocks for Cimarron.

• Coronado 3, Basic 0 -- At Basic, Eric Boman had 11 kills and six digs and Chris Austin 14 kills and two aces to lead the Cougars to a 25-13, 25-12, 25-20 win over the Wolves.

Howie Wu had 23 assits and two aces for Coronado. Daniel Bowman had seven kills and Anthony Gambone 17 assists for Basic.

• Silverado 3, Green Valley 1 -- At Green Valley, R.J. Miranda had eight blocks and Mike Mark eight kills and three aces to lead the Skyhawks over the Gators 25-23, 25-20, 16-25, 25-13.

Trevik Jenkins added seven kills and 12 digs and Talon Goon 13 digs for Silverado. Cameron Olsen had 16 kills and Taylor Mitchell 22 assists for Green Valley.
