INTERNET ONLY: Nieman passes Palo Verde to boys volleyball victory

Adam Nieman dished out 47 assists Friday as Palo Verde outlasted Coronado, 27-25, 25-27, 25-23, 25-27, 15-13, in a boys volleyball match at Coronado.
Tyler Capko had 19 kills and Clayton Worthen 15 for the Panthers.
Howie Wu had 45 assists for the Cougars and Chris Austin supplied 16 kills.
j Green Valley 3, Durango 0 -- At Durango, Taylor Mitchell contributed 21 assists and seven aces to lead the Gators to a 25-21, 25-15, 25-14 victory over the Trailblazers.
Cameron Olsen added eight kills and five aces for the Gators, and Chris Mortenson had six kills.
Thor Jaleco had 12 digs to lead Durango.
j Bonanza 3, Centennial 0 -- At Centennial, Bonanza swept the Bulldogs, 25-21, 25-21, 25-22.
Dallin Hyer had 13 kills and six aces, and Jesse Mackay had 45 assists and 11 digs to lead the Bengals.
Spencer Olsen led Centennial with 14 kills and eight digs. Seth Mitchell added 32 assists.
j Arbor View 3, Eldorado 0 -- At Eldorado, Matt Ward had 20 assists and eight aces to carry the Aggies to a 25-11, 25-11, 25-16 road victory.
Zac Reese added six kills and five aces for Arbor View.
j Sierra Vista 3, Las Vegas 1 -- At Sierra Vista, Zach Waldron had 48 assists and Joe White compiled 22 kills to help lead the Lions to a 23-25, 25-23, 26-24, 25-9 victory over the Wildcats.
Waldron and White each served 10 points, and Josh McLain had seven digs and 16 kills for Sierra Vista.
Jonathan Dugan had 16 kills and 15 digs for Las Vegas, and Danny Farias had 28 assists.
j Shadow Ridge 3, Basic 0 -- At Shadow Ridge, Jeremy Makaiwi had 16 assists and Preston Simper added 13 kills to help the Mustangs to a 25-22, 25-22, 25-14 home victory over the Wolves.
Jared Mackelprang and Jensen Lavallee each had seven kills for the Wolves.
