Veronica Subu scored late in the second half to give Coronado a 1-0 victory over host Basic in girls soccer Monday.
Amber Burgess earned the shutout for Coronado.
• Foothill 1, Del Sol 0 -- At Del Sol, Taylor Simpson scored on a penalty kick with 25 minutes remaining to lift the Falcons over the Dragons.
Simpson also earned the shutout.
• Green Valley 3, Silverado 1 -- At Green Valley, Kayla Varner compiled two goals and an assist to help the Gators defeat the Skyhawks.
Marvelyn Delatorre also scored for Green Valley. Taylor Richard had Silverado's goal.
• Shadow Ridge 3, Cimarron-Memorial 2 -- At Cimarron, Kelsey Tesoro scored twice to lead the Mustangs past the Spartans.
Caity Weiss added a goal for Shadow Ridge. Jennifer Salls and Jillian Masciola scored for Cimarron.
• Centennial 3, Arbor View 2 -- At Centennial, Julie Owens, Riley Bassett and Kaitlyn Thien scored in the second half to lead the Bulldogs past the Aggies.
Stacey Brinkman and Bianca Norman scored for Arbor View, which led 1-0 at the half.
• Cheyenne 3, Mojave 0 -- At Mojave, Laura Perez scored twice and Andrea Simpson recorded the shutout as the Desert Shields defeated the Rattlers.
Ileana Pena also scored for Cheyenne.
• Palo Verde 4, Legacy 1 -- At Legacy, Lauren Dudley scored twice to propel the Panthers past the Longhorns.
Brittany Sak and Taylor Reyes each added a goal for Palo Verde. Shannon Singleton scored for Legacy.
• Tech 2, Liberty 1 -- At Liberty, Natasha Witt scored two goals to carry the Roadrunners over the Patriots.
Brandee Haynes scored for Liberty.
