■ HIGHLIGHTS: At Fresno, Calif., Kirk Nieuwenhuis’ second home run of the game, a two-run shot with two outs in the eighth inning, lifted the 51s (31-26) to a four-game sweep of the Grizzlies. ... Las Vegas trailed 5-3 before Brandon Hicks homered to lead off the eighth, and Nieuwenhuis followed with his 10th homer of the season. ... Dan Runzler allowed both home runs in his only inning for Fresno, which lost its fifth straight. ... Josh Edgin threw 1 2/3 scoreless innings for his first win, and Gonzalez Germen struck out the side in the ninth to earn his second save. ... The 51s, who extended their season-high winning streak to seven games, are off today before opening a four-game series at Tacoma.
