■ HIGHLIGHTS: At Cashman Field, David Aardsma escaped a bases-loaded jam of his own making in the ninth inning to preserve the 51s’ win before a sellout crowd of 9,868. ... Aardsma loaded the bases with one out on a single and two walks, the second one intentional, before escaping when Kole Calhoun lined into a double play. Shortstop Omar Quintanilla caught the liner and doubled Luis Rodriguez off second base. ... Kirk Nieuwenhuis hit a two-run homer in Las Vegas’ four-run fourth, and Josh Satin added a solo shot for the 51s (22-24). … Former UNLV standout Efren Navarro went 4-for-4 for the Bees (23-26).
